Two Stage Paint Correction on 14 year old paint

Before the start of the video, we had already washed the vehicle and tapped off all the plastics, so our rubbing compounds and polish didn’t damage the plastics.  In the video, you will see how correct the paint and an example of what each correction stage does on the hood of this 2009 Buick Lucerne.

After a paint correction, we always recommend a ceramic coating as the paint correction thins your clear coat and removes some UV protection from your vehicle.  With a ceramic coating, we can build your clear coat back up and protect your paint again for years.  We don’t show the application of the ceramic coating in this video, but we applied a 3-year coating once all the paint was corrected.
